I first owned The Seeds' first LP 45 years ago. The Seeds remain my favorite band of all time, though most of the music I listen to now is not proto-punk or "garage" in style. They've been accused of being too simple, which is a dodge: simple is not an issue in rock music, but how the "simple" is conveyed. The Seeds conveyed it with great strength.
