The Rutles are a satirical band mirroring The Beatles. The "prefab four," as they appear in the film "All You Need Is Cash," are Dirk McQuickly (), Barry Wom (John Halsey), Stig O'Hara (Ricky Fataar) and Ron Nasty ().The band that originally performed the music in the film and on their records consisted of Innes, Halsey, Fataar, guitarist Ollie Halsall and bassist Andy Brown.

The Rutles (alternately titled Meet The Rutles) is a soundtrack album to the 1978 telemovie All You Need Is Cash. The album contains 14 of the tongue-in-cheek pastiches of Beatles songs that were featured in the film. The primary creative force of the Rutles ' music was Neil Innes, the sole composer and arranger of the songs.
