Hace 5 días · Wow, this pressing is superb. Better than any repress of Ziggy Stardust I have heard. Dead quiet, dynamic, clear, expansive. Just beautiful. The source is taken from 1/4” stereo tapes dated 15th December 1971, which were created for the then-provisional track listing of what would become The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.

Sifting through my dad’s record collection as a kid, it read like a dare. Before playing, I’ve been making a mental note to listen to They Say They Love You at maximum volume, too.
