The Revölution by Night est le neuvième album studio du groupe de hard rock américain Blue Öyster Cult, sorti en 1983.. C'est le premier album du groupe sans Albert Bouchard, remplacé à la batterie par Rick Downey.Les ventes sont décevantes, malgré le succès rencontré par les singles Take Me Away et Shooting Shark.
Whether that doomed ‘The Revölution by Night’ or not could be debated but what is not up for discussion is that the late 1983 release was a commercial dud. Produced by Bruce Fairbairn, who later in the decade would chisel out multi-platinum records for Bon Jovi, Aerosmith and AC/DC, ‘Revölution’ would not reach those exalted heights.
22 de dic. de 2013 · 50. For every awesome moment in this album, there's some bad karaoke level vocal performance or something that puts me to sleep. I'm okay with the cheesy 80's sound, I just wish they sounded like they wanted to make music. The first track is badass, the rest is around average, mostly below.
