The Power Station were a British-American 1980s/1990s rock and pop music supergroup originally formed in New York City and London in 1984. It was made up of singer Robert Palmer, former Chic drummer Tony Thompson, and Duran Duran members John Taylor (bass) and Andy Taylor (guitar).

The Power Station is the debut album by supergroup the Power Station, released in 1985 on Capitol Records. The album peaked at No. 6 on the US Billboard 200 and No. 12 on the UK Albums Chart. All three singles released from the album were Top 40 hits in the United States.
The Power Station is a side project of Duran Duran members Andy Taylor and John Taylor, with Robert Palmer and Chic drummer Tony Thompson. The album features a mix of funk, hard rock and synth pop influences, but lacks the popcraft of Duran Duran.
