The nice guy will quickly realize that the "nicest" thing to do is not risk making a girl uncomfortable by asking her out. That's why nice guys finish last. Instead, be a good guy. Good guys take what they deserve, but never more. Good guys realize that they can't always be nice, but they can always be fair, and that's better.
