David Berman was an American poet, cartoonist, and singer-songwriter best known for his work with the indie rock band Silver Jews. This subreddit is dedicated to David Berman of Silver Jews and Purple Mountains. David is the author of the poetry collection Actual Air. He also has a book of cartoons called The Portable February.
