The McCoys. American rock band formed in Union City, Indiana, United States in 1962. They are best known for their 1965 hit single " Hang On Sloopy ". Members Rick Derringer, Randy Z and Randy Jo Hobbs, played with Johnny Winter later. Rick Derringer got a solo career.
