14 de abr. de 2024 · I watched Martin Scorsese’s controversial 1988 film The Last Temptation of Christ last Sunday and have spent much of the past week wrestling with it. I’ve been peripherally aware of the film, and the controversy surrounding it, for many years. It’s a film around which passions run high, but my attitude towards it has tended to be one of mild curiosity and mild wariness.
