The Kink Kontroversy is the third studio album by the English rock band the Kinks. It was released on 26 November 1965 in the United Kingdom by Pye Records . [5] Issued in the United States by Reprise Records on 30 March 1966 , it was the Kinks' first American album to feature an identical track listing to its British counterpart. [6]
