The Ice Road is een actiethriller van het simpelste soort, ik sta ervan te kijken dat een regisseur als Hensleigh met zoveel ervaring nog met dit soort eenvoudige films op de proppen komt. Je zou denken dat je je eigen niveau per film wil verbeteren, maar The Ice Road is eerder een stap terug voor zowat iedere ervaren regisseur.
