The High Numbers, formerly known as The Detours, was a British rock band formed in the early 1960s, led by Roger Daltrey as the lead vocalist. The band also comprised Pete Townshend, John Entwistle, and Keith Moon, who later changed the band’s name to The Who.

Moon replaced Sandom in early 1964, after which the group released a self-consciously mod single (“I’m the Face”) to little notice and became the Who again in late 1964.
