The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009) Sweden Noomi Rapace was brilliant, I preferred her performance as Lisbeth. Edit: The Official teaser trailer for the 2011 remake was excellent; my excitement from that outweighed my enjoyment of the full remake itself.

Despite the fact that “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” is sufficiently standalone, its sequels, “The Girl Who Played with Fire” and “The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets’ Nest,” are intertwined, with the narrative from the former segueing seamlessly into the latter.
