Ray Cutter (John Travolta) es un experto falsificador de arte que, tras pasar una temporada en la cárcel, decide enmendar su vida y pasar más tiempo con su hijo enfermo (Tye Sheridan) y con su padre (Christopher Plummer).
Sinopsis. Raymond Cutter, un criminal de segunda generación, hace un trato con un marchante de arte del hampa para salir de prisión y pasar tiempo con su hijo, que tiene un tumor cerebral inoperable.
