Twenty-one representatives are elected to three-year terms from each of the eight Stoughton voting precincts. Pursuant to the Town Charter, under Section C7-1, the Annual Town Meeting shall be held on the first Monday in May. The Select Board may call a Special Town Meeting at any time in accordance to the Town Charter.
