The Electric Flag was an American blues rock soul group, led by guitarist Mike Bloomfield, keyboardist Barry Goldberg and drummer Buddy Miles, and featuring other musicians such as vocalist Nick Gravenites and bassist Harvey Brooks. Bloomfield formed the Electric Flag in 1967, following his stint with the Butterfield Blues Band.

3 de dic. de 2013 · All of a sudden, we knew we had a dynamite band. And man, it was a fantastic feeling. A combination of drugs, egos, conflicting goals and music business bullshit wiped out The Electric Flag after one soundtrack and a début album called A Long Time Comin’. A reunion album appeared six years later, but by that time, the thrill was gone.
