By using natural materials like seaweed, Notpla are replacing plastic with packaging that’s edible, compostable, and even dissolvable so that it can disappear back into nature without any harmful traces.
5 de may. de 2024 · The Earthshot Prize has since become an independent organisation. Cape Town has been selected as the host city for the awards ceremony in November. Speaking to News24 in an interview, The Earthshot Prize CEO Hannah Jones shared that one of the reasons Cape Town was chosen is because it presents a gateway to the rest of the continent.
Hace 3 días · The Earthshot Prize and its network have catalyzed £50M in funding in addition to Prize Money, reaching 54M people on average each year on social media since 2021. The finalists have reduced, avoided, or captured 420,000 tonnes of CO2e emissions.
