Climax Blues Band (originally known as The Climax Chicago Blues Band) are a British blues rock band. They have released at least 19 albums. "Couldn't Get It Right" reached No. 10 on the UK Singles Chart and No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1977. "I Love You" peaked on the Billboard chart at No. 12 in 1981.

14 de mar. de 2017 · After a minor squabble with US band The Chicago Transit Authority (later just plain old Chicago), they shortened their name to the Climax Blues Band and released a slew of seminal albums, including A Lot of Bottle (1970) and Tightly Knit (1971). Despite their headway, the early 1970s were still a struggle for Climax.
The Climax Chicago Blues Band is the debut album by Climax Blues Band (originally known as The Climax Chicago Blues Band) recorded in 1968 and released in 1969 by EMI Records ( Parlophone label) under catalog number PCS 7069.
