THE CADETS. We are a distinguished marching ensemble comprised of 165 talented musicians and color guard performers ages 17 to 21. The Cadets has long been a positive community where young people come together in pursuit of excellence.
The Cadets travel over 14,000 miles each summer entertaining hundreds of thousands of drum corps fans throughout the nation.
The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps (formerly the Holy Name Cadets, Cadets of Garfield, Garfield Cadets, and Cadets of Bergen County) was a junior drum and bugle corps that operated from 1934 to 2024. Based in Erie, Pennsylvania, the group was among the thirteen founding corps of Drum Corps International (DCI).

The Cadets is one of the most decorated drum corps in history and the oldest corps of its kind still in operation today. Founded in Garfield, NJ in 1934, we were first known as the Holy Name Cadets.
The Cadets were an American doo-wop group, formed in Los Angeles, California, United States. The group began as a gospel group, the Santa Monica Soul Seekers, in the late 1940s. The members were Lloyd McCraw, Willie Davis, Austin "Ted" Taylor, Aaron Collins, Glendon Kingsby, and Will "Dub" Jones.
