Initially canceled in 2020 due to the global health crisis, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles (BAFTA Los Angeles) announced the cancellation of the Britannia Awards for the second consecutive year in 2021.
The 2019 British Academy Britannia Awards, hosted on Oct 25, 2019, honored Jackie Chan, Steve Coogan, Jane Fonda, Norman Lear, Jordan Peele and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Presenters joining us for the evening included Taron Egerton, Vin Diesel, Donald Glover, Lupita N’yongo, John C. Reilly and Kerry Washington.
The Britannia Award is the highest accolade presented by BAFTA Los Angeles, and is a celebration of achievement honoring individuals and companies who have dedicated their careers or corporate missions to advancing the art-forms of the moving image in the US, UK and beyond.
