10 de feb. de 2007 · The Blues Alone is an intimate album, with John Mayall playing all instruments except (sometimes) drums, and writing all the material. This music here apparently could not fit into the mold of the Bluesbreakers. The arrangements are spare, and John's guitar and keyboard work is nimble without calling attention to itself.
Recorded Decca Studios, West Hampstead On May 1, 1967. Notes for each songs on back sleeve. Front Cover Has "Stereo Ook Mono Afspeelbaar", which is Dutch for "Stereo, also playable in mono". Different cover than all other releases, this cover was later also used for some odd re-releases. The runouts are stamped.
