Hace 3 días · Hyksos (/ ˈ h ɪ k s ɒ s /; Egyptian ḥqꜣ(w)-ḫꜣswt, Egyptological pronunciation: heqau khasut, "ruler(s) of foreign lands") is a term which, in modern Egyptology, designates the kings of the Fifteenth Dynasty of Egypt (fl. c. 1650–1550 BC). The seat of power of these kings was the city of Avaris in the Nile Delta, from where they ruled over Lower Egypt and Middle Egypt up to Cusae.

Hace 20 horas · I started to go to a punk club in Philly called the Hot Club and got to see a lot of great bands, especially Brian Setzer’s band, the Bloodless Pharaohs. I met some like-minded teens who attended a rival high school, and we formed a band and got to play a few times at the Hot Club when we were about 17 years old.
