  2. The Battle of Hastings is not very close to what Caravan was in the 1970s, but still, the album manages to be quite good. "It's a Sad Sad Affair" is a fine opening track, "Somewhere in Your Heart" carries on just as nicely, and while "Cold as Ice" is quite good as well, at this point it feels like The Battle of Hastings is an excellent album.
