The Allman Brothers Band was an American rock band formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1969 by brothers Duane Allman (slide guitar and lead guitar) and Gregg Allman (vocals, keyboards, songwriting), as well as Dickey Betts (lead guitar, vocals, songwriting), Berry Oakley (bass guitar), Butch Trucks (drums), and Jai Johanny "Jaimoe" Johanson (drums).
24 de abr. de 2024 · The Allman Brothers’ subsequent albums included Seven Turns (1990) and Where It All Begins (1994), both of which fared well both critically and commercially. Although they jettisoned Betts in 2000, the band continued to draw crowds up until their final concert in 2014. Their last studio album, Hittin’ the Note (2003), earned critical praise.
