The Adventures of Don Quick: With Ian Hendry, Ronald Lacey, Donald Sumpter, Kate O'Mara. A science fiction satire based on Don Quixote. Astronaut Captain Don Quick and Sergeant Sam Czopanser, members of the Intergalactic Maintenance Squad, visit worlds where they attempt to set right imaginary wrongs, often upsetting the inhabitants.
On each planet they visit, Quick attempts to set right imaginary wrongs, often upsetting the inhabitants of whatever society he is in. The plot bears some resemblance to the five Penton and Blake stories by John W Campbell, about two astronauts who travel the Solar System meeting strange races.
When Don and Sam accidentally land their space capsule in volcano crater, Sam is convinced that he's dead. He panics further when the astronauts discover that the volcano houses strange assortment of gods.
The Benefits of Earth: Directed by Mike Newell. With Ian Hendry, Ronald Lacey, Patrick Durkin, Anouska Hempel. Landing on a planet shared by two races, one technically advanced though addicted to warfare and human sacrifice, the other living in a dream world of peace and sensitivity, Quick regards them as ideal material for reform.
