Tereza Nvotová (born 22 January 1988) is a Slovak director and screenwriter. She is known for films such as Nightsiren (2022), Filthy (2017) and Lust for Power (2017). With her sophomore feature Nightsiren she won a Golden Leopard at Locarno Film Festival and Silver Melies at Sitges Film Festival.
HBO co-produced her feature debut and two documentaries. Her latest, The Lust For Power (Meciar, 2017) was critically acclaimed and has caused heated debate about populism and corruption in politics. Tereza is teaching students of direction at Film Academy in Prague (FAMU). She lives between Prague and New York.
Tereza Nvotová is a Czech-Slovak film director who won the Golden Leopard in Locarno for her film NIGHTSIREN. She also made FILTHY, THE LUST FOR POWER and other acclaimed films and documentaries.
