Although there have been changes in personnel, three members (Jorge Casas, Clay Ostwald and Teddy Mulet) have performed with Estefan since 1986. The current rhythm section has been in place since 1992 (with the subsequent addition of drummer Olbin Burgos and percussionist Edwin Bonilla).

Mulet, Teddy. He is a classically trained multi-instrumentalist, arranger, producer and songwriter born Hernan Mulet in Puerto Rico who first studied medicine at college and then moved into music after he had been performing with various college bands to pay his tuition fees.
