In 1993 the group issued a compilation album, Tea, Toast & Turmoil, for the international market on Canadian label Shake/Cargo. It contained material from their three Australian EPs and Various Artists' compilations.
Bar/None. Evan Griffith Dando (born March 4, 1967) is an American musician and the frontman of the rock band the Lemonheads. He has also embarked on a solo career and collaborated on songs with various artists. In December 2015, Dando was inducted into the Boston Music Awards Hall of Fame.
The trio – singer/guitarist and chief songwriter Tom Morgan, drummer Alison Galloway and bassist Paul ‘Duncs’ Duncan – recorded the track Tea, Toast & Turmoil, liked both the song and the band dynamic immensely, and thus Smudge was born. In fact, co-songwriting credits between Tom and Evan can be found all over Come On and Feel the Lemonheads. Defunct (with the exception of a few recent one-off gigs), co-ed power-trio Smudge hailed from points south, Sydney, Australia to be exact.

At least Divan and Pulp will become warhorses of the band's live shows. Single and EPs were later collected on Tea Toast & Turmoil (half A Cow, 1993). Manilow (Half A Cow, 1993) boasts 21 short tracks of tight punk-pop that relies on catchy melodies and funny lyrics ( Impractical Joke ).
