Taras Prodaniuk is a scholar on democracy and global trends, focusing on Ukraine's recovery. He currently holds research and fellowship roles at the University of Oxford,and the Canadian Global Affairs Institute.
Taras has published many articles and book chapters on the Security of Ukraine, Russian aggression, and the war in Eastern Ukraine. He often broadcasts and comments on leading Ukrainian media about current events in the international arena and Ukraine's participation in it.
With traditional country & western music as his template, Prodaniuk demonstrates effortless range over cry-in-your-beer ballads and dusty Americana, to rug-cutting honky tonk and barroom blues. Prodaniuk (pronounced "pro - don - uke") played bass for Dwight Yoakam for nine years, stepping out in 2001 to join up with Lucinda Williams.
