Ohio State suffered another heartbreak in the NCAA men’s tennis tournament. No. 4 TCU prevailed 4-2 in a marathon semifinal over the No. 1 Buckeyes on Saturday in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
After beating No. 8 Columbia on Thursday, top-ranked Ohio State matched up against No. 4 TCU and was upset 4-2, ending its run at the program’s first NCAA title. It was the second time the two teams matched up this season, after the Buckeyes got the better of the Horned Frogs in February to win the ITA National Team Indoor Championship.
