After all, Synecdoche, New York does include a scene in which a woman buys and lives in a house that's always on fire.
You’re not alone about struggling with Kaufman’s work. Watched I’m Thinking About Ending Things when it released and felt unsure of what to think of it. Tried watching Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind multiple times but never made it past 30 minutes. I’m still open to trying his stuff so I might catch Synecdoche, New York.
