Symphony for the Devil (The World of Type O Negative) was recorded in 1999, during the 12th Bizarre Festival in Germany; a month before the band's fifth full-length, World Coming Down. Although the band hasn't gone on tour to support their upcoming album's release at the time, they did play Everything Dies , which is a single from said album.
Type O Negative has a long history for "shock" rock in a manner of speaking. Not so much their shows, but in terms of lyrical presence. Well "Symphony For The Devil", the latest DVD to come from the "four dicks", brings that shocking aspect to the home.
