Mark "Boo" Hewerdine (born 14 February 1961) is an English singer-songwriter and record producer. His work includes lead singer and creative force behind The Bible, formed in the 1980s, and reformed in 1994, as well as solo recordings and work for film.

On 24 February 1990, the band released their most critically acclaimed album, Swagger, this time on a major label Chrysalis/Ensign. This was followed by Beatsongs, which was recorded in the United States and released in 1991. It was produced by Larry Hirsch.
The sound veers from the acoustic starkness of the title track to the electric swagger of History: the mood swings between the rock ’n’ roll urgency of 59 Yards and the eeriness of Little Bits Of Zero, calling at all points in between.
