Susie Honeyman (born 31 January 1960) is a Scottish violin player best known for her work with The Mekons. [1] . She is co-founder of the Grey Gallery. Biography. Honeyman was born in Glasgow, Scotland. Honeyman studied Music at the University of Edinburgh and moved to London in 1982.
Susie Honeyman . Susie Honeyman was born in Glasgow. As a child she played the piano every Sunday at Bible Class. She moved to Bristol at the age of 13, where her fellow classmates were Gareth Sagar and Bruce Smith of the Pop Group - later of Rip Rig and Panic - and Jeremy Valentine and Mike Fewings of the Cortinas.
The band was now augmented by vocalist Sally Timms, violinist Susie Honeyman, ex-Damned member Lu Edmonds, accordionist/vocalist Rico Bell (a.k.a. Eric Bellis), and former The Rumour drummer Steve Goulding.
