Long out of print on the original cassette format, Sunyata is my first commercial release, from June 1982. It has since been re-released on several CD printings, and remains available in combination with the 1985 recording “Inner Landscapes.”
During this time, he released four albums on cassette: Sunyata (1982), Trances (1983), Drones (1983), and his first live album titled Live (1984). The first of these was recorded when he was 18. The music on these albums reflects similar drone music atmospheres to those of his sleep concert series.
Sunyata & Inner Landscapes contains archival remastered releases from my early career. Sunyata was my debut cassette release in 1982, and documents my most minimal approach, very slow motion trance music which coincided with my early sleep concerts.
