Sunken Condos is the fourth and most recent solo album from Steely Dan co-founder Donald Fagen, released in October 2012 through Reprise Records. It contains eight new songs and a cover of Isaac Hayes' "Out of the Ghetto".
1 de nov. de 2012 · Donald Fagen isn't exactly a jazz musician, but he is a musician who plays jazz and whose music is suffused with a jazz sensibility, whether on his own or as co-leader of Steely Dan, so here we go. His 4th solo disc, Sunken Condos (on Reprise), is one of his best and maybe the best- sounding since the Dan heyday.

The insecurities besetting older men dating younger women becomes a tired theme, especially compared to “Hey Nineteen” and “Babylon Sisters,” which were both wittier and darker.
