Hace 5 días · With its thought-provoking cover image, her second album Sundial immediately positions Noname as an artist with a very different image; her introspective rhymes and taste for sensible outfits position her as the rapper representing the nerdy girls. The album was one of 2023’s most acclaimed, positioning Noname as a major rising star.
Also just look at the Noname thread when she released Sundial, a pretty great album undeniably, and nearly every comment is not about the music but about Jay Electronica being featured. Meanwhile when Ye dropped Vultures, we are able to separate an actual self-proclaimed Nazi from his art.
