Hace 2 días · To add on the comments — these CBTC transponders will allow the MTA to run more trains per hour as they will be able to run closer together. In addition, trains can be automatically driven using CBTC for optimal speeds. Are they ordering more subway cars? If they work as intended, this is great news.
