Stuart Fergusson Victor Sutcliffe (Edimburgo, Escocia, 23 de junio de 1940-Hamburgo, Alemania, 10 de abril de 1962), conocido como Stuart Sutcliffe, fue un pintor, poeta y bajista escocés del grupo británico The Beatles.
Stuart Fergusson Victor Sutcliffe (23 June 1940 – 10 April 1962) was a British painter and musician best known as the original bass guitarist of the Beatles. Sutcliffe left the band to pursue his career as a painter, having previously attended the Liverpool College of Art.

29 de abr. de 2022 · Stuart Sutcliffe was an art prodigy who became the Beatles' bassist in 1959, but left the band in 1961 to pursue his studies in Hamburg. He died of a brain aneurysm in 1962, at the age of 21, after a brief but influential stint with the Fab Four.

His sister, Pauline Sutcliffe, has claimed that her brother’s brain hemorrhage was the result of a fight with John Lennon a few months before he died, during which the songwriter beat him up.
