Victor Lemonte Wooten (born September 11, 1964) is an American bassist, songwriter, and record producer. He has been the bassist for Béla Fleck and the Flecktones since the group's formation in 1988 and a member of the band SMV with two other bassists, Stanley Clarke and Marcus Miller .

As a solo artist, Duncan made his debut with 1992's Stuart Duncan, playing alongside fellow bluegrass mavericks Sam Bush, Béla Fleck, Victor Wooten, and David Grier. The record earned a Grammy nomination for Best Bluegrass Album. Other accolades followed, including picking up eight IBMA "Fiddle Player of the Year" awards.
Yin-Yang (album) Yin-Yang is the third album released by Victor Wooten . The track "Pretty Little Lady" has a vocal line that was recorded backwards and then played in reverse, so that it appears to sound normal. This is an example of phonetic reversal .
In 1992, Stuart put out a self-titled CD which featured pals Bela Fleck, Sam Bush, Victor Wooten and David Grier. A mixture of sweet Old Time and hot Bluegrass, the record is still in print and can be ordered though Amazon.com. Between NBB tours, Stuart slowly became involved in the recording industry.
The Bluegrass Sessions: Tales from the Acoustic Planet, Vol.2 is an album by Béla Fleck. Going back to his bluegrass roots, Fleck put together a band of all-stars of the genre: Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas, Stuart Duncan, Tony Rice, Mark Schatz, Vassar Clements, John Hartford and others. [1]
