  5. Mistle thrushes are large, stocky thrushes. Their upper parts are greyish-brown and there is a clear white bar on the wings. The underside of the wings is white, which is a key way of identifying the species from the song thrush, which has buffish-orange underwings. Distinctive black spotting marks a mistle thrush’s white breast and belly.

We should thank Roy for re-releasing this gem for it is one of those albums that truly deserve a sonic experience. This must be his most focused work.
