Stolen Moments is singer-songwriter John Hiatt's tenth album, released in 1990. It was his highest charting solo album upon its release, peaking at No. 61. Joan Baez later covered "Through Your Hands" on her 1992 album Play Me Backwards, and David Crosby covered it on his 1993 record Thousand Roads.
When drummer Steve Brown left, Karen Peris (guitars, piano, pump organ, accordion, voice), Don Peris (guitars, drums, voice) and Mike Bitts (upright bass) forged ahead with an orchestral and sometimes cinematic folk-pop sound, a sound rich in atmosphere, innately sad, but ultimately hopeful.

11 de jul. de 2023 · Het duet met Karen Peris in Through Your Hands is prachtig en opener Real Fine Love is een sterke troef. In deze periode was John Hiatt met een serie behoorlijk sterke platen bezig want ook de opvolgers van dit album Perfectly Good Guitar & Walk On zijn bijzonder sterk.
