18 de nov. de 2022 · Born on November 27, 1924, the late Steven Beard was an American businessman and local TV figure from Dallas, Texas. Steven was a co-founder of the Austin -based TV station KBVO, which was later changed to KEYE. On February 18, 1995, he married his second wife, Celeste Johnson.

Beard himself made the call to 911 for help, telling the operator "my guts are in my hands." After lingering in the hospital for nearly four months, Beard died of complications from his gunshot wound.
Steven Beard was a TV journalist and co-founder of KBOV in Austin, Texas. He was shot and killed by a woman who claimed he abused her lover, who later confessed and testified against her.
