Steve Nicol. Stephen Nicol (born 11 December 1961) is a Scottish former footballer. He played as a full-back. He played for Ayr United, Liverpool, Notts County, Sheffield Wednesday, Doncaster Rovers and the Scotland national team. He was best known for his time at Liverpool.
