Steve J. Morse (Hamilton, Ohio, 28 de julio de 1954) es un guitarrista estadounidense. En 1994 se unió a la legendaria banda británica de hard rock Deep Purple, en la cual asumió el papel de guitarrista principal hasta su salida en 2022. Antes de unirse a dicho grupo, estuvo en Dixie Dregs y también tuvo una notable carrera como solista.
Steve J. Morse (born July 28, 1954) is an American guitarist, best known as the founder of the Dixie Dregs and as the guitarist for Deep Purple from 1994 to 2022. Morse has also enjoyed a successful solo career and was briefly a member of the group Kansas in the mid-1980s.

Y es que el guitarrista llevaba en la banda desde 1994 pero una situación de salud en su familia le hizo parar, hasta ahí todo lógico y comprensible.
