Manfred Mann's Earth Band was revived in 1991 with a lineup of Manfred Mann, Mick Rogers, Steve Kinch, singer Noel McCalla and former Jethro Tull drummer Clive Bunker and resumed recording, covering tracks by artists as varied as Paul Weller, Robert Cray, Del Amitri and The Lovin' Spoonful.
The band broke up in February 2019. A new Rubettes was formed with the original members John Richardson, Mick Clarke, and Steve Etherington (producer/arranger since 1995). Current members. 4 de nov. de 2020 · Steve Kinch is a British musician who is the current bassist for Manfred Mann's Earth Band. He joined the band as a permanent member in 1991, having previously appeared as a session player on the Criminal Tango album in 1986. He has so far featured on the live album Mann Alive, and the studio albums Soft Vengeance and 2006 .
Criminal Tango is the twelfth studio album released in 1986 by Manfred Mann's Earth Band with Chris Thompson. Founding guitarist/vocalist Mick Rogers returned to the band for this album and is still an active member. The new bassist Steve Kinch joined the band only when parts of the album were already recorded.
