Steve Hunter, born June 14, 1948 in Decatur, Illinois is an American guitarist, primarily a session player. He first played with Mitch Ryder's Detroit, beginning a long association with record producer Bob Ezrin. He is arguably best known for his contributions to Peter Gabriel, Lou Reed and Alice Cooper.
