7 de dic. de 2022 · CLEMSON, S.C. — Steve Berlin, the defensive captain of the 1985 Clemson football team, passed away on Monday, Dec. 5 at a hospital in Anderson, S.C. He had just turned 60 on Nov. 20, 2022. Berlin was a reserve on Clemson’s 1981 National Championship squad and then redshirted the 1982 season. He was a top reserve in 1983 and started two years for the Tigers in 1984 and 1985.

Steve Berlin (* 14. September 1955 in Philadelphia) ist ein US-amerikanischer Rock-Saxophonist, Keyboarder und Musikproduzent. Bekannt ist er in erster Linie als Mitglied der Rockgruppe Los Lobos. Davor war er Mitglied der Bands Top Jimmy & the Rhythm Pigs, The Blasters und The Flesh Eaters.
A long time member of the roots rock band Los Lobos, Steve Berlin has amassed a considerable amount of credits to his ever-changing resume. Certainly diverse, his work as a producer is difficult if not impossible to categorize. From Latin to acoustic folk, alternative to blues, Steve Berlin seems to have a knack for changing it up.
