Stéphane Grappelli ( París, 26 de enero de 1908- ibídem, 1 de diciembre de 1997 1 ) fue un músico francés; uno de los más grandes violinistas de jazz del siglo XX. Creó junto con Django Reinhardt el Quinteto del Hot Club de Francia .
Formación creada en 2015 para rendir homenaje a Stéphane Grappelli y el jazz manouche del quinteto del Hot Club de France. El repertorio está formado por temas de swing de los años 30 y 40, así como temas de autores contemporáneos como Serge Gainsburg o Romane.

Stéphane Grappelli ( French pronunciation: [stefan ɡʁapɛli]; 26 January 1908 – 1 December 1997) was a French jazz violinist. He is best known as a founder of the Quintette du Hot Club de France with guitarist Django Reinhardt in 1934. It was one of the first all-string jazz bands.

One of jazz’s greatest violin soloists, Stephane Grappelli (1908-1997) originally became famous for his association with guitarist Django Reinhardt, but he had a lengthy solo career long after Django had passed away. Born in Paris, Grappelli worked in movie theaters and orchestras before first teaming up with Reinhardt in 1933.
