A stack of inaccuracies! The sub-text on the cover of this compilation proudly proclaims "Their finest folk recordings, 1973 - 1975. A proud boast indeed, but since the tracks are all taken from Steeleye Span's first three albums, released between 1970 and 1972, perhaps a trifle inaccurate.
Steeleye Span are a British folk rock band formed in 1969 in England by Fairport Convention bass player Ashley Hutchings and established London folk club duo Tim Hart and Maddy Prior.
